Other important prepositions:(Sonra/after) (Ancak/but that) (sadece/Only,just,only if) (-den beri/since,ever since,dated from,for)
Using them in some phrase: idiot gibi düşünüyorsun     Geçmişteki gibi hala güzelsin
(You think like an idiot)   (you're still beautiful,as you were in the past)

bazı insanlar oldukça zengindir, bill gates, mark zuckerberg gibi                            like tarzan boy
(some people are highly rich, such as Bill gates,Mark zuckerberg)                 (tarzan boy gibi)

İçin/for:  Benim için       Senin gözlerin için               Bir kaç dolar için
(for me)           (for your eyes only)            (for a few dollars more)

ile/with: in the sentences including togetherness, case:
Bizimle kal(ın)    seninle gideceğim       benimle aynı fikirde       Benimle misin yoksa bana karşı mısın?
(stay with us)   (i will go with you)    (she agreed with me)  (are you with me or against me?)

Ailesi ile birlikte yaşıyor                  ...başarı ile ifa etti               ...şevkle konuştu
(she lives with her parents)          (...performed with skill)    (... spoke with enthusiasm)
Notes: while using "ile" generally the letter "i" doesn not seem, as in bizim(i)le/with us,but we know that there is a letter there "i",to comprehend it is "ile" or not, we replace it with "ve/and" if the meaning of the sentences are break down,so it is "ile"; if does not break down it is "ve/and"

for example: bizimle kalın(we can not put "ve/and" instead of "le",so it is "ile")
                      (stay with us)

toplantıya joseph'le alex katıldı./toplantıya joseph ve alex katıldı.
(joseph and alex participated to the meeting) (we can put "ve/and" instead of "le" so it is "ve" not "ile")

Kadar(so,as,till,as much as) : Mezara kadar    Sabaha kadar           Saat altıya kadar bekledim
(until death)      (till the morning)    ( i waited until 6 o'clock)

Karşı(towards, against): Karanlığa karşı               Beşe karşı otuz oy                 bakterilere karşı koruma
(against the dark)          (thirty votes against five)    (protection against bacteri)

Göre(according to,as to,considering: Efsaneye göre...                  Hava tahminine göre...
(according to the legend...)   (according to the weather forecast...)

Üzere(on the verge of,about to): Haberi duyduğum zaman ağlamak üzereydim
(i was on the verge of tears when i heard the news)

Yağmur yağmağa başladığında ayrılmak üzereydim.  O henüz gelmedi, ama gelmek üzere
(i was about to leave when it began to rain)          (she hasn't come yet,but she's about to)

Notes:i was about to/üzereydim
üzereydim=üzere idim, in order to combine two words we use buffer letter" y" because two vowels doesn't use abreast in Turkish words.

Sanki/mış gibi (as if,as though):  Sanki herşeyi biliyormuş gibi yorum yapıyorsun
(you comment as though you know everything)

Sanki başkanmış gibi konuşuyor
(he talks as if  he were president)
